　　由商务部主办、北京华文学院承办的“发展中国家商务部门官员汉语研修班”经过两个月的平稳顺利运行，日前已接近圆满结业，学员们在两个多月的学习中收获颇丰。

　　2009年10月27日，来自玻利维亚R.G.A语言学院的院长Fernando Guzman Arand先生在中国日报上发表文章，以生动翔实的笔触，采用问答的方式介绍了自己来中国学习汉语的原因、目的、收获，以及R.G.A语言学院的办学宗旨等。原文及译文如下：

　　Great Expat-Ations

　　Fernando Guzman Aranda, 35, is from La Paz, Bolivia, in South America. He is the director of the Academia de Idiomas R.G.A., the first Chinese language academy in La Paz.

　　What brings you to China?

　　I am here in China to take part in a three-month program called the Training Course on Chinese for Commercial Officials from Developing Countries. It is a program sponsored by China's Ministry of Commerce.

　　I'm attending the Chinese language course at the Beijing Chinese Language and Culture College. Altogether 27 people attended the program this year, representing 17 countries including Benin, Vietnam, Ghana, Uruguay, Laos, Zimbabwe and Bangladesh.

　　What's the program about and how can you benefit from the course?

　　The Chinese language classes include reading, writing and listening. We learn about Chinese culture through lessons on Chinese history, crafts, calligraphy, painting, taijiquan, film, and also by taking historical and cultural visits. The program is basically a capsule of Chinese language and culture.

　　Personally, this program has helped me to deepen my understanding and appreciation of the Chinese language and culture.

　　It also provides me with a framework to teach Chinese to foreigners, a skill I will apply at my Chinese language academy in La Paz, Bolivia. I now have an opportunity to do comparative analysis of the techniques, materials and skills needed for teaching the Chinese language.

　　I will bring my experiences back to Bolivia to run the Academia de Idiomas in Bolivia, and teach Chinese as a foreign language.

　　What is the main objective of Academia de Idiomas R.G.A., the first Chinese language academy in La Paz?

　　Our objective is to help people in Bolivia learn about China's language and culture, especially those who trade with China or conduct business here. Learning Chinese, I believe, will greatly facilitate trade and business between the two countries.

　　How does the Chinese government help you promote Chinese language and culture in your country?

　　Through the Chinese Embassy in Bolivia, the Chinese government supports the academy by providing teaching materials and offering study grants for qualified students to further their study of the language in China.

　　What will you take back to your country after your three-month stay here?

　　The language program and the places we visited have expanded my knowledge of the country and its culture. I can see China's economic development and the opportunities for trade, and I hope it will enhance the positive relations between Bolivia and China.

　　我在中国参加了一个由中国商务部主办的名为“发展中国家商务部门官员汉语研修班”的培训班，为期三个月。

　　此培训班由北京华文学院承办。我们一起有27人参加了今年的培训班，代表了17个国家，包括贝宁，越南，加纳，乌拉圭，老挝，津巴布韦和孟加拉国等。

　　这个项目的主要内容是什么？您是如何从中受益的？

　　汉语课程包括阅读、写作和听力。我们还通过学习中国历史、手工、书法、绘画、太极拳、电影等课程，以及游览历史及文化名胜，了解中国文化。此项目基本囊括了中国的语言和文化。

　　就个人而言，这一项目加深了我对中文语言和文化的理解和欣赏力。并且，它还为我提供了教外国人学习汉语的一个架构，我将会把所学的这些方法应用于我那所位于玻利维亚拉巴斯的汉语学院。此外，现在我还有机会进行汉语教学的教学法、教材、技巧等方面的比较研究。

　　我会把这些经验带回到玻利维亚，用于管理那里的语言学院，提高其汉语的教学水平。

　　拉巴斯的第一所汉语语言学院——R.G.A语言学院的主要宗旨是什么？

　　我们的目标是帮助玻利维亚人民了解中国语言和文化，尤其是那些与中国进行贸易或到中国来经商的人。我相信，学习汉语将大大促进两国之间的贸易往来。

　　中国政府是如何协助您在您的国家推广汉语语言和文化？

　　通过中国驻玻利维亚大使馆，中国政府为我院提供教材，并为我院合格的学生提供奖学金到中国深造。

　　在中国旅居三个月以后，您将带些什么回国？

　　这个语言项目和我们参观过的地方丰富了我关于中国及中国文化的知识。我看到中国的经济发展，也看到了大量商机，希望这将积极促进玻利维亚和中国之间的关系。
